Mother Love

the allure of reading

A Mother’s Heart

A Mother’s heart

Cracks wide-open

To give and gather,

Seize and snuggle,

Serve and soothe,

Teach and learn,

And finally,

Let loose and liberate.

But they wouldn’t have it any other way.

Blessings on the Mums,

Which any mother knows,

Means blessings on those they love,

This Mother’s Day.
