Worship While We Wait

Like Mary

We stand

Hands outstretched

Palms to the heavens

And exalt You

For all You’ve done

And all You’ll do

But most of all

Oh let it be

Most of all

We magnify You

Just because You Are

Like Job

We sit

Hand over mouth

In the ashes and weep

For all the sadness on this sphere

The suffering that pummels

In so many daily moments

From death to disappointment

Leaving hearts broken

In desperate need of healing

Lord let it be that we can

Hope in the hurt

And worship while we wait

For Your redeeming love

To do its fearless work

Job 40:4
